Ayn Vorena resides within the GXF Universe and cannot be used in any other universe. PART I Name: Ayn Vorena Race: Half human; half Abbissian. (See below.) General description of an Abbis An Abbis can be generalized as what one might call a warlock. The Abbissian are an "elite" (Meaning, they live longer and by nature can harnass magic) humanoid race. Each Abbis posesses an aura which is the central core of his or her magic ability/life force. Because the aura is composed of a certain type of energy, this allows specialization in a specific element. (Ex: An aura composed of dark energy will allow the owner to demonstrate a dominate control over dark magic.) An Abbis can force this aura to appear in a visible state when using magic or upon request. The average lifespan of an Abbis is 5000 years. Age: 28- this means in Abbissian years, she is still a toddler. Height: 5'3"/160 cm Weight: 102 lbs/38.07 kg Hair Color/Style: Light yellow-blonde, thin straight hair that falls about to her lower back. She almost always wears her hair in a simple ponytail. Eye Color: Light blue. Build: Ayn is very small in build, possessing the body of an adult woman. She is thin and somewhat frail looking, but this is only due to the fact that as an Abbis she is still a child. PART II Strengths & Abilities: Ayn has a white aura. This gives her a powerful control over the element Holy. Firing small blasts of holy energy is her usual magical attack. Another move that involves holy energy: Ayn charges a large blast of holy energy which she fires at the opponent. It enters the body of the opponent and replaces any dark energy inside the body with its holy light. This is ineffective if there is no dark energy within the opponent. This attack requires a lot of deep meditation and prayer, so it takes a few minutes to charge. Also, if Ayn misses, the attack will mirror itself into dark energy and backfire into Ayn. Needless to say, if she misses the attack may very well kill her. (To see an example of this attack working effectively, click here) Ayn also has a very limited control over the other elements- Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, etc., and is only capabale of firing small blasts of these elements. However, if angered enough, she can temporarily harness the true powers of Gaia (see: bio) which will for a very short period of time allow her to manipulate the earth. As expected, doing so takes a lot of energy, and once the effects wears off Ayn will collapse and remain unconscious for a few hours. For the aforementioned reason this attack is very rarely used except for in extreme cases. Weaknesses: Ayn is fairly weak physically due to her small and frail frame, so she generally tries to stay out of fights that don't involve magic unless she's angered enough. Despite having the body of a grown woman, Ayn has the mentality of a child, a five year-old. This is due to the fact that she is still a toddler in Abbissian years. Ayn is very naive and, because of her very young mentality she is easily upset or angered, and tends to get herself into trouble fairly quickly. Also, she mostly lacks the ability to think rationally and will jump into a fight without really thinking the situation through. Ayn has normally been able to take care of herself, however, due to recent events involving herself and her family (See: Bio), she's become extremely weak mentally and requiring constant supervision from her friends. Ayn is incredibly vulnerable to attacks on her mentality by outside sources (EX: Legion attempting to take control of her mind) due to being depressed and not really caring about her own safety. PART III While Ayn is only 28 years old, her existence has been prophesized for many milennia. Around 3000 years before Ayn was born, the prophet Joerin wrote the following: "Our mother, angered with our foolish actions; We turned away while she wept forsaken tears. From two great races she emerges, Marking the beginning of our end when her last tear falls." Unable to find any relevance to this prophecy, the great philosophers and holy men of the time disregarded it. 3000 years later, the scientist Rand stumbled across the prophecy and after extensive research he was able to decipher what Joerin wrote: Sickened with the destruction and pollution of the earth, Mother Nature, or Gaia will manifest herself in a mortal form as the daughter of two races. The death of this child will bring the earth and all life on it to an end. Determined to make this prophecy a reality, Rand introduced Yolanda (a human) to Gin Vorena (an Abbis), hoping that they procreate. Sure enough, they fell in love and two years later Ayn was born. Ayn spent most of her childhood alone in her hometown of Blythandor, under the impression that her parents spent all of their time at the lab, and more importantly, that she was merely a human. Rand became her caretaker and for 18 years he used Ayn as the subject of his experiments with his newest creation, the synthetic demon. When Ayn was barely a toddler he injected her with the first synthetic demon created with the ability to live both within a host and alone in an environment, Avversa. (This type of demon is known as a Doomsday, as its primary motive is to eventually destroy the host it's inhabited.) When Ayn was 15 Rand introduced Bianca as her little sister. Ayn instantly accepted this despite the fact that she had never seen her parents since she was two years old, and took Bianca in to take care of her. Three years later, Avversa took complete control of Ayn's mind and she destroyed her hometown of Blythandor, however Bianca survived. After Ayn regained control of herself, she left Bianca in the care of Gale Onarav, her friend at the time, and disappeared to rid herself of the Doomsday. A year later Ayn returned, although how she got rid of the Doomsday is unknown. It is assumed that she had an excorsism performed and destroyed Avversa once he was drawn out. Now 19 years old, she felt desperate to understand why, as a human she had such talent with the usage of magic. Before she could begin searching she discovered that Bianca was in possession of Malgavita's Stone, a very powerful heirloom that allows the holder to wield any element he or she chooses. Knowing that Bianca was in danger, Ayn went to great lengths to recover the stone from her and keep it out of the reach of Rand, who had become corrupt with his massive successes when Ayn was born. However, the stone was stolen from her after a conflict with Gale and M.C.C who was hired by Rand to deliver the stone to him. Currently the stone remains in Rand's possession. After this conflict Ayn and Gale became mortal enemies. This tension was further strengthened when Ayn discovered Gale had murdered her mother, Yolanda, in a confrontation schemed by Rand. Now feeling an increasing hatred towards the Abbis, Ayn worked feverishly to scheme an effective way to kill him, eventually devising her most powerful Holy attack (Described in Strengths.). While in the process of developing this attack she became more adept in her control of the other elements, and it was during this time she discovered she was indeed the spirit of Gaia in mortal form. However, even after this realization she found it difficult to harness the true power she was destined to have. Nine years later, Ayn was still having extreme difficulty with her powers. It was at this time that Gale met the Siren Laena who provided him with a poison that is lethal to humans. He used it on Ayn, expecting it to kill her instantly. Since Ayn is not completely human, she only became seriously ill for a while. Incredibly angered by this, Ayn disregarded the fact that she is obviously not fully human or she would not have survived the poison, she attacked both Gale and Laena, wounding them both. After this conflict, Ayn kept herself a distance from everyone else, still working on honing her techniques. While Ayn worked on her skills, Gale and Laena eventually fell in love. However, Laena met an untimely and unfortunate end at the hands of her sisters when they found that Laena had become pregnant. The loss of his love drew Gale into deep madness and in his grief he sought to destroy all existence, Heaven and Hell included. This scheme put into action became known as Megiddo. Accepting this as her only chance to destroy Gale once and for all, Ayn immediately joined forces with Lara and Jekin to fight against him. Ayn demonstrated her potential by letting the spirit of Gaia completely consume her (See Strengths) in order to drive away the archdemon Legion. Eventually the fighting led to Gale's home, a castle on the outskirts of Estecia. It was here that Gale murdered Bianca in front of Ayn's eyes, and in a blinding anger she attacked Gale. After quite a bit of fighting between the two, Gale finally defeated Ayn and prepared to kill her, completing his plans. Ayn quickly reacted by using her most powerful Holy attack on Gale, which in turn killed him. Shorly after Gale died, Rand appeared again and told Ayn the truth about her family- that she was half Abbis, and that she had just murdered Gale, her own brother. Reeling with grief, Ayn quickly gave up on the will to live and Rand attempted to kill her. However, Ayn survived with the help of Lara and M.C.C, and they eventually drove Rand off. Ayn then carried her slain brother back to his castle, where she buried him next to Laena. She also took Bianca to Pasadga for a proper burial, then returned to Gale's castle. Ayn became incredibly weak mentally, which gave Legion a fine opportunity to enter and try to take over. He surrounded her in a dream world where he tormented her with memories of her past: how she destroyed Blythandor and killed Gale. Legion had almost taken over completely when Ayn's father, Gin Vorena, appeared, drove the Archdemon out and snapped his neck. Ayn still has not recovered from this, and now resides in her older brother's castle where she requires constant supervision, as she can no longer take care of herself.
